This notice explains how Alpha Law Firm uses personal data submitted through the contact form and how certain technical services on the website operate. It has been prepared with Law No. 06/L-082 on the Protection of Personal Data in mind.
Data controller
The data controller for this website’s contact form is Alpha Law Firm, based in Prishtina, Kosovo. For privacy questions, contact the firm through its office email.
Data we collect
The form collects your full name, email address, phone number when provided, subject and message content. To protect the form from misuse and repeated submissions, the server may temporarily process the network address and a technical identifier derived from it. The network address is not included in the email content delivered to the firm.
Purpose and legal basis
Form data is used to review your request, contact you and, where applicable, take steps at your request before a possible professional engagement. This processing is based on Article 5(1.2) of Law No. 06/L-082. Technical processing for security and abuse prevention is based on the legitimate interest in protecting the website and contact channel under Article 5(1.6). The checkbox next to the form confirms that you have read this notice; it is not used as consent for marketing.
Sensitive and confidential information
For initial contact, do not send confidential documents or highly sensitive information through the form. Briefly describe the nature of your matter. Submitting the form does not by itself create a lawyer–client relationship.
Recipients and technical providers
Form messages are delivered to Alpha Law Firm through the configured email or SMTP service. The hosting provider may process technical data required for server operation and security. The website does not use form data for marketing and does not sell it.
Cloudflare Turnstile
The website uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the contact form from bots, abuse and automated submissions. Turnstile performs technical checks in the browser and generates a security token. The website server sends this token to Cloudflare for verification through the Siteverify service. During this process, Cloudflare may process technical browser and connection signals in accordance with its service and policies. This website’s code does not send your name, email address, subject or message content to Cloudflare for Turnstile verification.
Google Fonts and Google Maps
The website uses Google Fonts for typography. When the font is loaded, Google may receive technical connection data under its own policies. Google Maps is not loaded automatically; the map is activated only after you select “Show map”. When you activate the map or open Google Maps, Google may process technical data in connection with its service and policies.
Retention
The website does not store contact-form content in a database. After successful delivery, the message is delivered to the firm’s email mailbox and is kept only for as long as necessary for communication, assessment of the request and applicable legal or professional record-keeping obligations. The technical rate-limiting identifier is used only to assess submissions within a rolling security window of approximately ten minutes; temporary server state is cleaned periodically. Technical server logs may be retained according to the hosting provider’s configuration and policies.
Your rights
To the extent applicable under the law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing or request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact Alpha Law Firm at the email address above.
Automated decision-making
Contact-form data is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.
